Auction Results

Word on the street is that Jackpot sold for $1800 today.

The Results are in!!

Buddy and Jackpot did very well in the riding portion, but because of the in-hand score, it did not put them in the Top 10. They placed 14th overall. 

Not bad!!

Auction tomorrow, and there is lots of interest in Jackpot.

In-Hand Results

Today was the In-Hand/Halter competition. Jackpot got a little squirrelly coming into the arena, so it cost them. They ended up placing 48 out of 69 competitors. However, tomorrow is the riding portion of things and Buddy hopes to do much better. 

Horses were also scored on body conditioning, and Jackpot scored 100% on that! So fingers crossed tomorrow will do better and put them in the top 10 overall.

Waiting on word

No word on how they did today. Hopefully news tomorrow.

They have arrived

Buddy and Jackpot have arrived and checked into the Extreme Mustang Makeover, as of 8 a.m. this morning!!

A minor setback

Word from Buddy and Kim is that they broke down outside of El Paso, TX. The truck is in the shop and they have gotten a replacement and as of this evening at 9 p.m. are back on the road. 

They are 7 hours from Ft. Worth and expect to be there in time for the check-in Wednesday morning.

Less than a week now

Buddy and Jackpot hit the road for Texas this Sunday bright and early!!
